Say hello to baby Reed! He's such a cute little fella!! This sweet baby is just so loved; I'm incredibly glad I was able to be apart of his parent's journey to parenthood. It's not every day I get to see a picture of one of my newborns as a teeny, tiny embryo. His Mama had this beautiful watercolor done from an ultrasound of him as an embryo that we used in their pregnancy announcement; it's probably one of the coolest things I've gotten to photograph. 

Now that their handsome little man is here, we got to take darling newborn pictures. He's such a little champ! He gave us sweet tiny smiles, and slept away for most of his newborn session. We got to incorporate a few fun things like his monogrammed diaper cover, and rainbow baby blanket. I love everything about his pictures <3

Meet the Shrewberry family! They invited me to come and take their pictures in their neighborhood, with the cutest little bridge. This little family of four did amazing, especially those sweet little boys! At their age, it's super hard to sit still and look at the camera for a bunch of family pictures, so we made sure to have some fun play-time mixed in. Running, swinging, and being tossed in the air does WONDERS for bored little ones to make sure you receive amazing Knoxville family pictures! 

Watching these families laugh, play, and make beautiful memories during portrait sessions is the best part of my job <3

Meet Savannah! An absolutely gorgeous mom to be! This brave soul trusted me to lead her into one of current favorite location, a local grassy field, that is SO amazing right now with the wildflowers and blooming grass. The bugs were swarming, and the humidity high, but it was oh-so-worth it for these stunning Knoxville maternity pictures. 

Savannah mad great use of my rental maternity gowns, a complimentary service I offer to my clients and wore several of my beautiful dresses. Who wants to shop for an ill-fitting maternity outfit, when you can wear my custom ,comfy, designer gowns?

Her sweet baby is due over the summer, and highly anticipated. I know this beautiful Mama can't wait to meet her new addition. I hope they'll make their way to my Knoxville newborn studio for pictures!

Oh happy days! I was so excited to photograph Tessa and Joe's maternity session! Photographing in downtown Knoxville is one of my favorite things; combine that with a maternity session and it was perfection! Their maternity pictures look like something off a movie a poster. 

Maternity Sessions

Maternity pictures are seriously some of my favorites! I adore helping the mom-to-be look stunning and capturing the beauty of pregnancy. It's also a fabulous time for me and the parents to get to know each other and chat before their newborn session. 

Tessa and Joe were amazing despite the bitter cold on the day of our session; I know for a fact I would not have looked that good while freezing. They were up for any ideas I could throw their way; their couple pictures are simply stunning!

Maternity pictures really agree with Tessa, she looks beautiful in every shot! It was nearly impossible to narrow it down to just a few to post. Everything about these is perfection. I love that we went with an urban location, it paired so well with them.

Meet sweet, sweet baby Emma! She is simply a doll with a FULL head of hair and beautiful, creamy skin. She was perfect in every way. After a bit of coaxing, she fell right to sleep, and let me capture some stunning images of her perfect, little face. 

Knoxville has so many beautiful newborns! I enjoy working with each and every one of them. Getting to see their unique personalities, and interact with such sweet, sweet babies is a dream.

Kendred and Ingrid | Intimate Knoxville Wedding

Intimate weddings are some of my favorites, and I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable couple's just last weekend! Kendred and Ingrid were simply amazing and so photogenic!

This couple chose a beautiful location, at the perfect time of day for gorgeous, golden portraits. I couldn't have planned it better myself! They were even so thoughtful as to consult with me on when the lighting would be the absolute best (talk about a dream couple to work with!!). We had a grand time finding the perfect spots for them to pose in after their elegant, simple Knoxville ceremony. 

The love between these two shows all over their faces in their portraits. They hardly even had to be posed; they were so awesome together!! I can't wait to share some of my favorites with you all!

It's been fabulous to be back home and photographing in Knoxville and the Smoky Mountains. It looks like it's straight out of a fairytale! I am loving all the wildflowers, and the beautiful trees. Being invited to photograph this stunning couple's ceremony in a perfect location was amazing and I am incredibly glad I had the opportunity to be there.

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting the Arnold family for their pictures! They are such a great bunch, with simply beautiful children! I couldn't ask for a better family to photograph. Their girls were so patient waiting on their brother to crack a smile and what personalities! 

Knoxville has so many stunning locations to photograph, just like this beautiful botanical garden; it looks simply magical.Everything about this garden reminds me of a fairytale.  Family sessions are so important! If your family is anything like mine, one parent is always behind the camera, so it's hard to document everyone together. This is your chance to have everyone together for a beautiful portrait. 

I'm not sure I have ever met a 4 and 6 year old as patient as these two little girls were! They held their smiles and were so still and amazing while I snapped away. Once that sweet baby boy cracked a smile, he was perfect! All three were great little models!

I took a few moments to get individual portraits of these sweet kiddos and I'm sure glad I did! Their personalities were such fun and shine through their images.
